Cookie Policy
Last Updated: April 21, 2026
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on lumenscreen.com, what they do, and how you can control them. It complements our Website Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your browser. Cookies can store a piece of information (like your language preference or your cart contents) so the site behaves consistently as you browse. Similar technologies — such as local storage and pixel tags — work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.
Categories we use
We group cookies into three categories. You can control each category independently via the cookie banner on your first visit, or at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
- Strictly Necessary — Required for the site to function. These cannot be turned off. Examples: keeping your session secure, remembering your cart, and storing your cookie-consent choice itself.
- Analytics — Help us measure how people use the site so we can improve it. Optional.
- Marketing — Help us measure whether our advertising reaches interested people. Optional.
A note on Plausible Analytics: we use Plausible as a privacy-focused analytics service. Plausible is cookieless — it does not set cookies or persistent identifiers, and it does not process personal information as defined by GDPR. Because of this, Plausible is not subject to the banner and does not appear in the table below. You can read Plausible's privacy approach at plausible.io/privacy.
Cookies we use
Strictly Necessary
| Name | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ncw_sales_session |
lumenscreen.com | Session |
| Maintains your browser session (sign-in state, cart contents, CSRF protection). | ||
lumen_consent |
lumenscreen.com | 12 months |
| Stores your cookie-consent choice so we do not prompt you again on every page. | ||
lumen_consent_v |
lumenscreen.com | 12 months |
| Tracks the version of the consent prompt you responded to so we can re-prompt if we make a material change. | ||
lumen_consent_deferred |
lumenscreen.com | 24 hours |
| Set when you close the cookie banner without making a durable choice (clicking ✕ or pressing Escape). Suppresses the banner for 24 hours so you are not re-prompted on every page. No analytics or marketing cookies are granted during this window; those categories remain blocked until you make an explicit choice. | ||
remember_user_token |
lumenscreen.com | 2 weeks |
| Set only if you choose "remember me" when signing in. Keeps you signed in across browser sessions. | ||
__cf_bm, cf_clearance |
Cloudflare | 30 minutes to 1 year |
| Bot and abuse protection. Set by our infrastructure provider on pages served through Cloudflare. | ||
| Stripe checkout cookies | Stripe | Varies |
| Required for secure payment processing when you are on the Stripe-hosted checkout page. See stripe.com/privacy. | ||
Analytics (optional — requires consent)
| Name | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics 4 | 2 years |
| Distinguishes unique visitors for analytics. Only set if you accept analytics cookies. | ||
_ga_<container_id> |
Google Analytics 4 | 2 years |
| Persists session state for GA4. Only set if you accept analytics cookies. | ||
Google Analytics 4 is configured with Consent Mode v2. If you decline analytics cookies, no _ga* cookies are set; Google may still receive aggregated, non-identifying pings used solely for modeling overall trends.
Marketing (optional — requires consent)
| Name | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|
rdt_uuid |
90 days | |
| Identifies your browser to Reddit's advertising systems for measuring ad performance. Only set if you accept marketing cookies. | ||
| Additional Reddit identifiers | Varies | |
| Reddit may set additional cookies or local storage values to support pixel tracking. | ||
We may add additional advertising vendors in the future (for example, Meta or Google Ads). When we do, we will update this table and re-prompt you for consent.
How to manage your choices
On this site
- Cookie banner — On your first visit, you will see a banner asking you to Accept All, Reject All, or Customize.
- Cookie Settings link — In the footer of every page. Opens the preferences modal so you can change your choice at any time.
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link — In the footer for US visitors. Provides a one-click opt-out of marketing-related sharing.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) — If your browser sends the GPC signal, we automatically treat you as opted out of marketing cookies and ad-related sharing. You do not need to interact with the banner.
In your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies site-by-site. Instructions for common browsers:
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site from working correctly — for example, you will not be able to sign in or complete a purchase.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new cookie or change how we use an existing one, we will update this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will show the cookie banner again so you can review and confirm your choices.
